Selfishness is a virtue

Welcome to me...isn’t this bizarre.... No one greets himself. But as I am a rookie in this pasture I need to learn this work very well, hey again am going wrong, as this is not supposed to be a work. It’s fun. Can express your feelings. Blah blah blah. We are already a sovereign nation... So open expression of thoughts was never a nuisance... Then why do we need to have a blog, when we are not sure that anyone is going to read this crap or not. May be we need to persuade our friends for that in the same way we ask them for orkut-testimonials and in the end it becomes a game resulting in balance of trade. Then I need to defend myself against so called alter-ego. My take on this, is much unsophisticated. To me it’s a pro-modern fashion which has become a necessity (read obsession) as well as a medium to impress others about how much more intellectual a person I am than others. If i would be saying that then it would obviously be an exaggeration, but at the same time it would be partially true as well.
In today’s competitive world we are in race all the time, be it watching movies, playing games, chatting with friends or making girl friends , we always want to outwit others. But we are not left with any option. If we are a little bit timid, others will grab the opportunity. So what are we supposed to do?? Do we need to go all guns blazing? Or surrender against the hypocrisy of life. Or accept a mediocre (read pedestrian) life. The books are loaded with Gyans which inculcate ideas saying don’t get driven by situations, do drive them. But is it so simple to accomplish. Never. To me a person needs to know what makes him happy , it doesn’t matter whether it troubles other or keep them intact. And once he is able to understand himself he should work towards achieving self milestones. And when everyone will be happy, do you think world will be unhappy?
